Santa’s Texas Mailbox is a Pearland-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit built on a simple wish: for every child to feel remembered, loved, and celebrated at Christmas.
It all started with a fun Santa letter sidequest in 2025, thinking we would get maybe 10 letters dropped off. Much to our surprise, we received 120 letters in our special front door mailbox. Santa wrote a full handwritten letter back to each child, pulling little cues from their letter and any extra information their parent provided. Santa also included a Nice List certificate with their name on it, as well as, a cute sticker sheet.
Yes, they're freeeeeee. There's no catch, just some imagination and holiday magic.
In 2025, before Santa’s Texas Mailbox became an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit, a mailbox at our home became the beginning of something special. We answered 120 Santa letters with personalized handwritten replies, Nice List certificates, and small keepsakes—all free of charge—and fully supported 29 children with Christmas gifts.
Behind those letters were children wishing for joy and families hoping for a little help. Those first 120 letters showed us how much a small act of love can mean—and inspired us to keep the mailbox open and the magic growing.
Last year, before Santa’s Texas Mailbox became an official nonprofit, we personally spent over $6,000 providing Christmas gifts for 29 children in need. What began as a simple way to bring a little Christmas magic to our community quickly opened our eyes to just how many families were struggling behind the scenes.
This year, we're dreaming bigger.
As we enter our first Christmas season as an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we've set a fundraising goal of $10,000, with hopes of providing Christmas gifts for at least 50 children. Unlike last year, when we funded everything ourselves, we're reaching out to our community for support. Through generous donations, partnerships with local businesses, fundraisers, and community involvement, we hope to turn this little project into something much bigger.
But our mission isn't just about presents under the tree. It's about easing the financial burden on parents who are quietly wondering how they'll make Christmas happen. It's about reminding struggling families that their community sees them, cares about them, and is willing to lend a hand.
Every donation, no matter the amount, brings us one step closer to saying "yes" to another child. And because 100% of donations go directly toward helping children and families, every dollar donated has a purpose.
We believe in transparency and want our supporters to see the difference they're helping us make. That's why we'll be regularly updating our fundraising progress right here on our website.

Last year, the children we supported were selected from those who dropped off letters to Santa at our mailbox.
This year, we're expanding our reach to help even more families in need!
For the 2026 Christmas season, we are introducing a community-based nomination process. We will be sharing an online nomination form across local community pages, giving friends, neighbors, teachers, and others the opportunity to nominate families who could truly benefit from a little extra Christmas magic.
Our goal is to reach beyond the families who visit our mailbox and identify children who might otherwise go without gifts this Christmas.
Because every child deserves to experience the magic of Christmas, whether they write a letter to Santa or not. ❤️
